Fjord Norway offers something different in every season. From powerful waterfalls and blossoming orchards in spring to long summer days, colourful autumn landscapes and snow-covered fjords in winter, the region provides year-round opportunities for memorable programmes.
The iconic fjords form the backdrop for a wide range of experiences – from scenic journeys and cruises to hiking, kayaking, skiing, local food and cultural experiences. Spring and autumn offer quieter alternatives to the busy summer months, while winter opens up a completely different side of the region, combining fjord experiences with snow, skiing and city stays.
For tour operators, this means more flexibility to create varied itineraries and extend the season beyond the traditional summer programme.
